About Dollywood

The Dollywood theme park is owned by famous country singer Dolly Parton and the Herschend Family Entertainment. Apart from providing several thrill rides, the park, located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, hosts several concerts every year featuring top musical acts, including Dolly herself.
Dollywood is divided into ten themed areas including Showstreet, featuring the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame and the Celebrity Garden. Other attractions in the theme park are the Rivertown Junction, Craftsmen’s Valley, the Wilderness Pass and Adventures in Imagination featuring Dolly Parton’s museum. There is also the Timber Canyon with the Mystery Mine coaster and the Village with its carousel and the Dollywood Express steam train. Another popular site in the park is the Jukebox Junction with its Pines Theater and car rides.
Dollywood prices vary, but on the average a regular one day ticket for ages 12-59 costs $58 and for a child 4-11 years old, $46. Seniors 60+ entering the park only have to pay $53. The one day tickets for Dollywood’s Splash Country costs $47 for the regular and $42 for children 4-11 and seniors 60+. Children under 3 years of age are free to enter the park, and groups of 15 and more will be able to avail of discounts.
