EPCOT is one of the most visited parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. But if you’ve ever visited here in the summer you know it can be challenging to stay cool. Don’t let the heat keep you from experiencing the magic of EPCOT though. Here are some tips that may be able to help:
Bring a Fan
A fan can be a lifesaver on a hot day at EPCOT. You can attach it to your stroller, and the breeze will keep you cool as you walk around the park. Be sure to bring extra batteries, as you don’t want to run out of power in the middle of the day.
Use a Cooling Towel
Another great way to stay cool at EPCOT is to use a cooling towel. These towels are designed to cool you down no matter where you are in the park. You can buy them at Disney World, but you’ll save money by purchasing them beforehand.
Bring Water Bottles
Stay hydrated by bringing your water bottles with you. You can bring water bottles into the theme park, and drinking plenty of water is an excellent way to stay cool.
Visit The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion
The Seas Pavilion is a fantastic place to visit during the summer at EPCOT. This indoor pavilion has fish, dolphins, turtles, and more, and it’s always air-conditioned. You can ride The Seas with Nemo & Friends and enjoy the aquarium’s interactive experience while sitting down and staying cool.
Visit the Land Pavilion
The Land Pavilion is another indoor pavilion at EPCOT that’s entirely air-conditioned. You can go on the Living with the Land boat ride, where you’ll learn about farming and tour a greenhouse.
Soarin is another great ride that’s one of the most popular at Disney World. You’ll feel as if you’re flying all over the world and have an up-close view of famous landmarks.
The Land also offers a dining option called Sunshine Seasons, and here the foods they serve are actually healthy and delicious.
Ride Frozen Ever After
Frozen Ever After is one of the newer rides at Disney World and is located in the Norway Pavilion. This ride is great during the summer because it’s indoors, and you can get wet, which is much needed in the summer.
Visit the Mexico Pavilion
The Mexico Pavilion is one of the best places to visit in the World Showcase at EPCOT because it’s indoors. They have a restaurant, drinks, souvenir items and a nice boat ride.
Visit Flavors of Club Cool
Club Cool is a great place to sample Coca-Cola products from all over the world. These drinks are completely free, and you can find out if you like or dislike the options from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Italy, Peru, Thailand, Greece and Brazil.
Take the Friendship Boats
If you’re tired of walking around EPCOT, take the Friendship Boats. These boats are a great way to get around the park and see the sights from a different perspective. They’re especially useful if there’s a specific pavilion you want to visit that’s far away.
