There’s something for everyone in Florida. Universal Studios is a great place for Harry Potter fans while Universal’s Island of Adventure is the perfect theme park to enjoy adrenaline-pumping rides. There’s Legoland in Winterhaven, and kids (as well as kids at heart) can always visit the various parks at Disneyworld.
While Florida has amazing beaches and clubs, it’s more known for its theme parks. If you’re planning to visit, here are the top theme parks you can visit:
Magic Kingdom Park
Magic Kingdom is one of Florida’s best amusement parks and is part of Walt Disney Resort. You can easily identify it when you see Cinderella’s Castle, where you’ll meet Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other well-known Disney characters. For a truly memorable Disneyland experience, choose Magic Kingdom among the many Florida Disney parks.
It has a fantastic fireworks display at night and also offers plenty of thrilling rides including Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Haunted Mansion.
If you can, stay at Walt Disney Resort so you don’t have to drive far to get to the park. The hotels here may be pricier but you’ll save a lot of time and will not have to deal with parking fees at the park.
Epcot
Epcot is in Bay Lake in Orlando and here you’ll find futuristic attractions and rides. You’ll encounter rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You’ll also come across golden character statues and enjoy some international fare.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom hosts all the classic Disney movies and characters that are wild-life related.
The best rides in this park are Pandora: The World of Avatar, Expedition Everest: League of the Forbidden Mountain, Avatar Flight of Passage and Kali River Rapids.
The park is situated in Walt Disney World Resort where you can find plenty of hotels. Animal Kingdom Lodge is a top choice and it’s nearest to the park. Its theme is African safari style with plenty of open space and is also home to dozens of species of African wildlife.
